Hello fellow webmasters, we kindly ask for your help :c

STORY: Here is the website our team has created https://www.facetop.me
    [IMG]

Website simply counts how many likes you and your friends have on Facebook and creates a TOP out of that. It is really fun and entertaining. Just press the "FIND OUT NOW" button, while you at it.

ISSUE: Our website is completely safe, everything is being done through Facebooks API, as well as SSL protocol, yet we have very high bounce rate 70%, people think our website is fake and wants to steal their data. Therefore we have high trust-issues.

    QUESTION:
How do you think we can improve this trust problem that we stumbled upon? Let us be more precise, we are talking strictly about our MAIN PAGE, what you think we should improve there? We do know that we can improve the step before people land there, but the question is really about the main page.

After working on this website for so long, we do still feel like it is a true masterpiece, but our morale really dropped after seeing such high bounce rate, people don't want to authorize (press "FIND OUT NOW" button). Any tips and positive comments would help :)

P.P.S maybe some day this post will go to history :p

    Regards,
    Facetop.me Team.

The screenshot you have provided looks really good but I wouldn't be in your target market - too old to really care which of my friends is an attention whore.

It's not something I would be interested in either, but could be fund for younger people. Maybe you need to put a clear privacy policy on the front page. Keep it short, simple and easy to read (like the DP rules)

I do not think 70 % bounce is that high (too be depressed because of it). We are on 80 levels and doing OK.

In this cases just make it more popular that's it. So if you will have lot of views you will not take care more if you have 70 or 90% bounce rate. Good luck with your site, for me seems to be a nice idea, hope to find it some day available for sales! :D
