Paid traffic and giveaways *should* give you traffic really fast I've seen a facebook page get 6,000 in 3 days via a giveaway haha but then those users went away because the facebook page lacked interest after a while.
I like the idea of paid advertisement so long as its effective. One thing you can do is use fiverr.com to help with your Facebook campaign. With a little research you can find some one on fiverr who can literally give you thousands of likes to your page for only $5. I've used them before and the amount of value they provide is unbelievable.
Thanks, but that's what we are trying to avoid. All those are fake likes and we want to avoid them. We are okay with user liking it and then dislike it after a while if they don't like the page/content.
