    Hi,

The aim is to create a huge list of our adsense tips and advice all in one place. All you need to do, is to post just one of your adsense tips or a piece of advice. The only rule is, don't post twice in a row - wait for someone to reply, before adding another tip. :)

    Here's my first tip

    1. Don't give up! It will take a lot of hardwork to succeed with Adsense and there will be times where you'll feel like giving up, but keep going.

    3. Do not use borders around your text ads - to do this, simply use the same colour for your border as you have for your website's background.

using the link units is better when CTR is low.because for some of the niches, link units tend to be more relevant. But the problem with link units is low conversion and hence smart pricing can occur.

Never click your own adsense ads nor tell your friends and family about your adsense account.

Thanks for your participation. Here are the tips so far....

    2. Read the TOS carefully and follow it.

    7. Never click your own adsense ads nor tell your friends and family about your adsense account.
    8. When you're starting out, have one channel per ad unit. That way, you get to see precisely where each click has come from. This way of tracking will provide you with invaluable data on what works (and what doesn't work) for your blogs.

It's very interesting to see other people's tips/advice on adsense. When the list gets bigger, I will group similar themed posts together for ease of use. :)

    9. Experiment with your ad placements. Generally, placing your ads in between posts works well. Placing ads around your content also works well. Ads in a left sidebar perform better, in general, than right sidebar ads.
