Ouch... AdWords Cancelled My Accounts

Some of you here might notice that I have some problem with AdWords a few days ago. I figured out that my ads were not active because they couldn't process payment from my card.

I was a little frustrated to see that my ads are still not showing up even after I provide them with another debit card for backup.

I decided to check an old AdWords account that I used before this and noticed that I owe them about $5. I added the same debit card to that account. It says card error, so I give up and spend almost one hour to find the contact form to email them.

(This is the link if you want to contact them)

The next day, I received an email from Google telling me that they have just collect the payment from my debit card. I am quite surprised, so I went over to that old account and tried to start a new campaign on it.

I did something similar to what my other adwords account have and was hoping that I can start getting traffic to my landing page. I waited for several hours and still didn't get any impression or ad clicks.

A few hours later, I log in to my AdWords account and noticed that both accounts were canceled and I have to contact their support team again... Anyone experience this before? Any advice? :(

Basically, you can't have two accounts.

You can if you ask nicely, but if you just go ahead an open two accounts using the same credit card, you risk being shut down.

Why? Because it makes it easy for you to have two ads showing for the same query, and Google don't want to happen. Unless your accounts are linked via a MCC, they can't check for double-dipping.

If they just cancelled them it means you are not banned yet. Well, contacting them is one option, of course. Or you can wait for a few days and then try to open a new account. Many people cancelled old accounts and started new ones. As long as the old ones are not running anymore, there will be no issue with opening a new account. Although some may differ on that.

You risk being banned, sure. You risk being banned for anything on Google.

But I know guys with over 30 Google accounts turning over $xx,xxx/Day.

You can have two accounts. It's what you do wrong with them that's gonna get you banned.

I've heard that if you have two accounts, you have to let them know ahead of time, or they might cancel your accounts, which is unfortunately what happened to you...

I sent an email to AdWords supports several days ago and explained my situation.

They reactivated one of the account. I'm back in the game! ;-)

I still get the same problem. I created a new campaign. The ads are getting an average of QS of 5 to 9 but none of the ads are showing up on Google Search Network. Anyone experienced this problem and manage to solve it? :(

I really need to get my AdWords campaign to start ASAP!

You CAN have 2 accounts, many people do. To be safe use a MCC

ChrisBa, I am only using one account. This is really frustrating! :(

Should I outsource my PPC marketing to someone else then?

My opinion, don't outsource it. Figure out what went wrong and fix it. You'll be better in the long run if you learn from what happened this time around.

Unfortunately the same thing happened to me and I am now suspended. Suspended by the way means you can never advertise with adwords again. I tried contacting them to say I was new to all this and it would not happen again but was told, bad luck apply for your refund. S*&t happens

Yeah, adwords has been on a roll this month cancelling accounts. I had 2 accounts and both got banned. It is a shame to because one of the popular courses (Googlemoney Pro) that is Google approved talks about having multiple accounts and encourages it.
