Other sites similar to Squidoo?

Im looking for similar sites to squidoo, I am having some fantastic results using squidoo lenses to target specific keywords.

Does anyone have a list of similar sites???

Hub pages is the best alternative of squidoo .

 

I think all the alternatives are a waste of time as they all use no follow or worse

I just set up a page at wetpaint and they put this in html

<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" />

What the point of putting a page up there, its not even going to be spidered by search engine bots and all links are no followed. Its a travesty, I bet 95% of the users don't even know about this.

any promotion you do for this page is a waste of time, you are not promoting your page, you are just promoting their site, which in turn they get money for ad revenue, they are using and abusing people, they get all the rewards for your efforts.

Hubpages doesn't like low quality stuff. I got banned many times so I think Hubpages are very valuable if they approve it.

 

as long as you have 2 maximum links and high quality content, hubpage should be good. You can find similar web2 sites in my Signature, cheers

I use hubpages for spam...i mean...high quality content.

 

Hubpages is great you can get an authority link if you write a good content even it has nofollow link.

Is anyone else seen good results with squidoo, I used to use it but then heard that the squidoo backlinks were devalued and I stopped making lenses...any thoughts?

Squidoo is totally for marketing purpose and we are allowed to put links. As for other pages (hubs/knol/ezine etc), 1-2 links are allowed and more is considered spam . I guess i am not spamming but filling the web with useful content.

 

I like hubpages and Google's knol.

 

Alternative to squidoo, I've been using hubpages and Wetpaint... they seem to be the best.
