Everyone knows that eBay is the top 1 in traffic and buyers but most of sellers are leaving theme because they can't afford their fees, and hey if i afford selling my products on oscarbid.com for free, why not!. And that's the point of this thread. thank you for your comment and hop to see you there
Well I think the key is to find an alternative to Ebay that actually can drive traffic and make sales. No listing fees is all while and good, but if you aren't selling anything its irrelevant.
There are many other sites available where you can buy. for cloths shopping , you can visit bagittoday
Yes that's definitely true. eBay is the biggest auction/bin site in the world right now unless you have a better/unique idea that can top that. Otherwise, you should just go with eBay.
Marketplacester.com is a good free directory of all the sites to sell online. It includes auctions, storefronts, comparison sites, classifieds and deal sites and you can search around based on fees and stuff. Helpful stuff.
penny auctions sites my bite into ebay's traffic. Hukop.com is a penny auction site that allows anyone to host their own auctions. Unlike ebay, you can run to your local best buy, pick up a brand new TV. Offer it for auction on hukop.com and make a profit.
I was thinking of the same thing as well. ebays fees tend to rack up your profits, so I would advise to type in google "ebay calculator" by ryan olbe. I would only buy stuff on ebay, and if you really had to sell something, I would try these options first before anything. Keep in mind it really depends on what your selling. There is certain places that are more targeted, like etsy.com is for arts&crafts and homemade products. 1) craigslist - free- you may get buried under other peoples ads, but writing a effective ad like adding related keywords to what your selling can help. (include pictures like a ebay listing) Plus having a good headline, that gets read! Example: 2003 honda s2000 Modified: Black 2003 honda 2000 in Mint Condition! More modified: 2003 Honda s2000 34k miles! Mint Condition! See? Anyways, you get the idea. 2) ebay - this is a great way to sell back almost everything, but remember to have more feedbacks built up! (Before: you start selling anything big) Tip: .01 items can achieve you to 100 feedback = $1.00 or something cheap in value. 3) amazon - if I had to sell back books, use amazon. (Fees are about the same with ebay, use the amazon calculator)
Trademe.co.nz or Sella.co.nz Oh wait, that's just for New Zealand. Are there no state wide ebay like sites around in the US?
There are some sites like https://www.tripleclicks.com/11592044 you can visit this and I really love this site.
Ya I'm over eBay, here is another list http://www.bestauctionsites411.com/. Hopefully more people will start to get away from them, I know I want to.
