Hi all, Could someone please help me with a adwords issue I am having. Basicly I have setup adgroups for my keywords. Each adgroup Iv setup the 3 types of searches Now as this is a new campaign I have allowed broad to run to gather as much data and phrases as I can. Anyways, when I go into a adgroup and take a look at "see search terms" I get some results then as i scroll down to the bottom I see "other search terms" Now the question is how do we find out these search terms? Is there software? Its really a pain as the CTR on these "other" keywords in terrible like 0.1% which I cannot negative out to improve the CTR of the campaign. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks, Damien
It really is a problem: Google rarely shows search terms with 0 clicks. If you have a Google rep you may ask him to send you data about search terms with 0 clicks in your account. Generally the search term list for a broad keyword is very sporadic, so that it takes a lot of time (and money) before one can distinguish the less-performing search queries. Possible ways to "fight" or minimize it: Use Modified Broad keywords (+keyword +like +this +one) instead of regular Broad Cluster search terms with common words, for instance: the terms "Black Shoes with Navy Pants" and "black shoes with navy suit" form together a cluster of "black shoes with navy" (4 common words in the same order) - so if it under-performs you might decide to add this "cluster" as a negative-phrase keyword, that will block several search terms.
