hi, I just started with adsense and I am making a decent earning now off of it. However I have seen on some times images that I guess people get paid per impression. Do you know of any sites that offer this and is it worth it ? Should I just stick with adsense?

Pay per impressions can be a lot of revenue if You have proper traffic . See this list fo CMP networks and find something for Yourself
Adsense has a large number of advertisers and offers good PPC. You may consider using CPM ad networks if you have good traffic. Else, go with CPA networks if you wish to promote products.
It really depends of the number of daily/monthly impressions your site generates. Below a certain level CPM is just not worth it.
The greatest CPM program is, in my opinion, ADSDAQ. It lets you set your own rates and has a bunch of other cool options that you can implement, like back-up tags.
