im developing a site that would be an international site, im thinking about having content translated into other languages

has anyone else had that and:
    • Which Languages
    • What is the uptake of the different languages
    • did it make a difference
    • was it worth it
    • how did you do it
    • how much did it cost for each language

    thanks

I did this a long time ago, but I gave up because it did nothing to my site.
The languages I used were French, English; I translated the site myself and grammar checked it. This was pointless because I didn't recieve any visitors from France.

What type of site are you wanting to translate? If you're offering a service, make sure you can chat if your client in that particular language!

I didn't do it. But, you may find a freelance translator.
Cost can be US$ 0.05 - U$ 0.10 per word. But this cost is not definite. It depends on language pairs and the person who will translate.
