Other ads bringing me down?

On my site I have three ads. One is in the header, one is in the footer, and one is on a separate page.

    My eCPMs are as follow:

    header : $0.18
    footer : $0.05
    separate : $2.50

The page view to click ratio for the header and footer are much worse than for the separate page. I feel the header and footer ads are bringing me down.

If I only have ads on the separate page, will I get near $2.50 per click? Will my revenue go up at all? Thanks!

I think it has been posted here many times that less ads=higher payout.. it has also been posted that removing low-performing ads will increase your earnings per-click..

Recently i removed very poor-performing ads from my site and my earnings increased. it's hard to say if the reason my earnings increased was due to removing these low-performing ads or not, but i'm pretty sure it is the reason.. it took about 10 days before I started seeing the change..

I'm not sure what you mean by "separate page"?...

As with everything, it's best to take a day or two (or my suggestion, a week) to test out your theory. If it doesn't work, you can always come back. Nothing to lose there.
