Other ad campains with adsense

Is there a limitation on other ad cmapaigns at the same page with adsense ?

 

As far as I understand it, you can't run any other ad campaigns that do contextual ad placements. For example, you cannot run Adsense and Overture ads on the same page. Also, you cannot run Chitika ads on the same page as Adsense ads UNLESS you disable the search feature and make them non-contextual.

Anyone else with more experience care to add to this or clarify anything?

 

That's about right. You can't have any other contextual advertising network running on the same page as Adsense Ads. This includes YPN and Chitika with contextual advertising activated.

You also can't show any ads that resemble Adsense ads in any way. Other than that there isn't a problem with any advertising from say Fastclick or Casale on the same page as AdSense.

 

adbrite is okay with adsense. You can use it.

 

So would bidvertiser be out of the question?

 

I have no idea about bidvertiser but if it is contextual then you can't use it along with the adsense. See to it that is not mimicing the adsense too.

But I think you better inquire about it directly to the Adsense Team

 

How can you be sure about that???
They can be treated as contextual ads and thefore google's rivals..

 

yeah, I don't think bidvertiser or adbrite can go on the same page, because it's contextual. I don't think adbrite have image ads. But Paid-To-Promote image ads can go on the same page.
