I'm love my mac, but I still use my PC a lot. I find it helpful that there are no viruses for mac, but I agree with the rest of you that if enough people start using OSX than there will start being viruses for it. There is a lack of certain software and games for the mac, but really it suits all my needs, and I can always just boot up my PC for some good gaming.
Why do you use both a PC and a Mac? Why don't you just dual-boot your more powerful machine...if you don't want to repartition your Hard Drive than you could just pick up an external one...doesn't it makes more sense to use your more powerful machine for everything?
Probably because steve is successful Great choice on the macbook. Might want to wait a bit till they come out with a new model (I hear it will be soon).
I've only had my latest MacBook since October, I upgraded it to 4GB ram and use parallels for stuff like visual basic and such. I'm looking at selling it and getting a MacBook Pro once the new designs come out in a few months. I'll also need it for Uni in september so it will be perfect timing. I would never buy a Vista laptop. Anyone who is still supporting it clearly doesn't read around the web
I would definatly consider having OSX and a windows OS on the same computer but I couldn't go without windows.
pc is cheaper so if you need to upgrate it it will cost you less. I'll go for pc. in our time graphics cards and processors evolved very fast.
Honestly speaking, I like OSX much better than Vista. Although, I did have a good experience with Vista as I worked on Vista myself, from my computer to increase it's performance, adding the Vista SP1 helped even more, but I just got a PowerPC (Apple), and I just love the experience.
Having Been With Microsoft right from Day 1 (Windows 95) I thought, wow things couldn't get better. Then having released Vista back in 2006/7 (Cant Remember) I thought OMG they have gone so fast down hill, I think microsoft is so over-rated, vista and xp crash so much and i would never ever go back having gone to OS X. Yes OS X has its flaws and is hard getting used to but it is a totally different experiance!!! OS X for the win
I started with OSX in 1995 but when I got my own computer, it was a 386 with Windows 3.11 installed. Then, Windows 95... and so on
not to sounds like a jerk but.. Honestly, MS is just failing worse and worse as I see it. I've spent time with both. I'm an OSX dude. Even though they both have flaws... OSX just works so much smoother from my perspective... *shrug* They both have flaws. haha
