osCommerce is kind of buggy and difficult to maintain because is open source and is made addons by 100 of ppl. I find zen cart more realiable and easy to use, still some scripting is required!

    cheers

If I can through out another suggestion it would be MIVA5... lease it from hostasuarus and if you like it you can buy it... but they provide great miva5 support w/their lease/hosting ;)

Virtuemart all the way. Easy to implement and to modify, also it benefits from joomla templates and CMS

I think Zencart is easy to set-up and customize among all three.

I tried to use oscommerce ... but as said earlier .. it was kind of buggy.
Zencart is the best option i have used and seen. Very Userfriendly and Customisable.
Virtuemart > Cant comment I DIdnt Get well with Joomla.

So For Me Zencart is the best.

Skip oscommerce and use either Zen or CRE loaded if you want a cart.

If you want more of a CMS with a cart feature then Virtuemart is what you want.

So...out of the 3 you listed use Zen if you just want the cart or if you want all of the content services then VM is what you need.
