osCommerce - sessionID gets added

I have a website developed with oscommerce.

I added few additional url links with simple html code, '<a href="../"> Something</a>'. When I bring up the browser for the first time, sessionID gets added to those links. Once I navigate to any other page, the urls are clean without any sessionID. This doesn't happen with the oscommerce default links, but happens only with the added links.

I would like to fix the above since SEs might see them as duplicate urls. I will appreciate any suggestions.

    thanks,

in your admin section set prevent spider session to true and make sure you have an up to date spider.txt file and SE's will never see SID's

hope this helps if it does please add to my rep.
