Thanks for reminding me of this page. However, other than a half-dozen that were 'expired', there was no explanation given for 99% of 'em. And ALL of them were done the same day, 1/29. My feeling is that they may be cutting costs by eliminating all but the most active files, even those younger than 20-30 days. Since there is no accountability and the possibility of closure looms, why not?

Also, lets not forget their servers may be overwhelmed by uploaders fleeing MU, FS, etc. and looking to make room for incoming files. I pretty much gave up uploading all but the smallest of files anyway, due to glacial uploading speed.

I thought of a new downside here. All of those Paypal payees are NOT having their rebills rebilled. That is a more catastrophic factor that the unavailability of Paypal for first time buyers. People that have been happily having their Paypals deducted monthly/quarterly are going to have to decide whether the service is worth their giving up their more private and less controllable credit card accounts to a company that is struggling in an industry that is under assault.

oron appeared round about 2009/2010 as an OCH, but the domain was registered in 2001. Therefore, yes the domain exists more than 10 years, but not the site as a hoster.

 

oron is dead..they not even online anymore.
