both are networking site but orkut is old and almost dead and google plus having much more features so goole plus is better than orkut.
Now orkut is out dated and people are interested in Facebook and Google+ When option to select from G+ and Orkut, G+ is better than Orkut. We can add more friends easily and can share some links to increase traffic.
I agree with that point of view..I think Both are important but Google is more important in comparison to orkut...
