I was wondering if I somehow manage to give my page URL to the pages in ORKUT having high PR will that help i increasing my position in search engine results or not!!
In theory, you could get a backlink from a PR9 site and during the next update not even see your Pagerank move. Don't worry about Pagerank, it's a secondary factor when it comes search results since it "only" is used to give value to a backlink. Worry about writing unique quality content; this will promote more naturally relevant linking to your web pages and in return help you in search results.
i dont think it will help, reason: i've never seen a result of orkut in google unlike myspace or hi5 we have to login first in orkut to see a profile or even a community or anything not sure if that help
it wont help, same reason.. you need to login first than you can access any profile. same way search engine boat have to log in first. and thats the reason it wont help.
It doesn't help you when it comes to SERP rankings because they don't allow html codes. But it does help you gaining small amount of traffic.. some SE's also consider those as one way links.. while some are not.
