Hello, a few days back I posted a article (paid more then 15$ for that) at http://isongz.com/tv-serials/love-ne-milla-di-jodi and it sppeared at top of google. Lately someone copied it to wikipedia and wikipedia article ranked higher then me, but I contacted them and they removed the content. But now I see someone from Youtube has pasted the full article in all his videos as More Info about video. Now off course google thinks that Youtube is owner of content and my page thrown out of search results. I don't know what to do now.
You need to file a DMCA to have the content removed. You can use google to find out exactly how to do it.
Yes, Hire a lawyer. Better yet, hire 2. Then hire a manager to control the lawyers. Or.. find out where the perp lives, go round, break his kneecaps with a big bit of wood studded with rusty nails. What are you asking? if there's some magic button somewhere you can press that will stop people copying your stuff???
I am fed up with people copying my content and then not responding at all. And to be frank it is not really possible for part time bloggers like me to hire lawyers. Don't have a way out.
cant do much things about it now ,you just flag that youtube content to down him than you that is the only way now .
I've had it happen about a month ago, scraped most of my blog and put it on a couple dozen blogs and they've been ranked as original over mine.
Some of my sites are so strong that even when I release a news article hours later than others that have already been indexed, my sites come up first. I dont agree with it either. But that is now the reason why I release them, another reason why Google's algo is the cause of most of its spam.
this thing can happen quite often, I believe...Some websites have authority in Google eyes and it ranks articles there highly...
All you can do is contact YOUTUBE and they will get it removed for copyright infringement See many videos you must have seen have been removed when you click its because of this reason GO GET YOUTUBE CONTACT MAIL and report them
amanmail121 I'd advice you: 1- In your articles/posts insert as many internal links (to other posts you own) as possible. This makes you rank better in Google, and additionally, some people that copy others' contents disregard the possible links that a post may contain. This will give you some links (unless they do the effort of removing the links and/or the format). 2- Contact the content admin (Youtube, Wikipedia, etc.) and ask them to remove the contents. 3- Contact Google through the Google Webmasters area and expose the problem there. 4- If it is a personal blog/website monitizing your articles with Adsense, it's as simple as contacting Google Adsense. Good luck.
Look, do they provide a link to your site/original source of the article? If they do, I can't see a problem - you could wait and see if you get any traffic. I might be getting this totally wrong, but I wouldn't mind having an article of mine in wikipedia. Just my two cents.
No they didn't link to my site. Also I tried to contact the user at Youtube and he doesn't reply. When it comes to contact Google at Youtube all I get is to sign the DMCA letter and Fax it which is not a better solution. Now I just updated the article (Wrote a new article for another 10$), and my page is back to the 1st rank at Google for most competitive keyword of that page. To protect myself from future problem I am using Wordpress Plugin to stop people from copying my valuable article easily. But still those who have a lot of knowledge can copy.
