Original articles or finds?

Is it wrong to use someone else's content even when I have clearly provided a link to the original article?

I started my financial blog a couple of days ago and have found content and re posted it on my site. I CLEARLY provide a link to the original article and in no way claim I wrote it. I have no money right now to pay for writers so what do you think is my best bet, carry on as usual or try and write some articles myself?

Does original content rate higher than something that has been copy and pasted?

    Thank you.:)

You're in the wrong forum, try legal, where this question has been answered about 2 million times.

Also, get a dictionary, and look up 'copyright'. Then look up 'copywriting'

Using something written by someone else without their permission is against copyright law. Adding a link does not substitute for permission. period. no research required.

Yay! So many folks don't care and rely upon the original author's just not finding out. You're better off in the long run anyway. Now you'll have unique content and have a better chance of ranking well in the SERPs.

Create unique, and original content. Stop being an idiot and risking anything with stealing content.

First, original content means that you have written it yourself, and have not copied and pasted from the internet. Every single person has a unique writing style. Google looks to see if 7 words in the sentence are placed exactly like anything else on line in order to enforce its duplication policy. If you write something yourself, the odds of matching what other people have said exactly are relatively slim.
Second, original content should give the reader something useful. Gone are the days when you could just write fluff that would be sent out the internet for the purpose of back linking. Giving your reader something useful is extremely important when wanting to get your content ranked on the search engines. The more useful your information is, the better the search engines will rank your content and website. Through making original content, you will be much better prepared to make more money on the internet as your traffic will increase. If you hate writing content yourself, there are several content writing companies out there that can do this for you. Regardless of how you get the content, making sure that it is original is the key to having great content to post on the web. This makes original content of extreme importance when it comes to the world of the internet and web traffic.
