Organic traffic - Total visits up, new visits down year over year. Any ideas?

    Hey DP,

    Been noticing a trend on a client site for the last 2 or 3 months and I am kind of stumped as to why.

    For this example, I will use the month of March 2014, comparing to March 2013.

    When looking at my google organic traffic year over year, total visits are up by 52%

    % of new visits is down by 37%, and new visits are down by 8%

    When I am seeing an organic traffic increase, I always see that reflected in the new visits.

    Anyone else experience this before with their organic traffic?
