Hi, folks, I have been in online marketing for quite long time with PPC without much success. I use PPC only. I saw the post about landing page here at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=861159 . It seems it is a landing page for artical marketing. Is it a good idea to use this landing page for PPC? What's the fundamental difference between organic & paid traffic? Thanks David
I think you should find out what's wrong with your campaigns. Maybe you didn't have squeeze page to collect leads and do follow up? That's quite important.
i also mostly promote via PPC as it's much faster to see results.. to answer your question yes... it's a good idea to setup landing pages for PPC campaigns... this gives you the advantage to be able to firstly tweak each one to make them keyword rich and eventually improve your quality score... if you created your campaign properly and separated keywords into different campaigns you could end up setting up different landing pages per each campaign.. and to not to forget to mention you could experiment with each LP using google optimization and get the most out of your LP's
You should set-up a landing page, if you are sure that you can do it properly, because poorly created landing is worst thing you can do. The landing page suggested in that thread is actually quite good, and you can try to use it on PPC. The main difference between organic and paid traffic is that you do not pay for the first one and you pay an arm and a leg for the second one The other difference is that paid traffic is more targeted and the conversion rate is much higher with paid traffic. You simply have to have pre-sell/landing pages if you want to sell clickbank products. Linking directly to vendor's pages is not encouraged by any PPCs.
