How many times have I been on one of my sites and a really interesting Google Ad comes up. I don't CARE if my click doesn't get counted toward my site, I am genuinely interested in that ad, and want to go there. But I can't, non-organic clicking is against TOS. This to me sounds like organic clicking, I'm not doing it do generate revenue - seriously, 1 click is worth 5 cents? Debit me. I have removed competing sites from my ads so I'm not stealing their money. I can't figure out the url because its a one line ad. I cant use Adsense Preview because I'm on linux, and as a consequence I get annoyed. In one case I actually went to a competitors site that had roughly same keywords as mine, kept refreshing till I could find the ad so I could click it. Talk about a kick in the nuts.
If you click on your own ads once every few weeks or so, Google knows it was an "error", they won't kick you off for that. Just avoid repeated clicks that could "smell" like fraud attempt. You may ask them by email, the answer will be the same, I gave you here.
Dont worry about click your own ads if it interested you. but make sure dont repeat clicking or something. to be safe, email google after you did it (in case you clicks few of them) so you wont be in trouble.
You can ALWAYS see the url when you hover your cursor over the Ad. If it's a link unit, you can click on the title where it will take you to a list of avertisers where you can easily see their address and type it in the URL address line. It's not hard to do.
I think we have all been threw this I usually check the bottom left side of the browser to see if the url is there.
Yeah just grab the url from the ad. Not worth getting into a big hassle about clicking on your own ads.
Don't push your luck, just right click the link and get the URL from the link properties, it's much saver.
NO excuse for having Linux - I run Linux since 9 yrs RIGHT click on ad >> select copy link location paste into editor window >> see URL of site advertising
Even, if you still mouseover and find the URL, might be that URL could be a display one and the actual one can be vary and there is option for the advertiser to showup an URL and can be landed on a different page...
Like they say don't push your luck and get banned. Which brings an interesting question how come where not getting more clicks?
