.org vs .us for affiliate landing page

    I am going to register a domain name for my new affiliate landing page. Which would you suggest productname.org or productname.us

    Somehow org looks like more reliable to me. And .us domain could mislead affiliates that product only available in usa dont you think? Though on the other side most affiliates will be us based

    If the product is only available for us customers, then .us otherwise .org.
