.org vs. .net

    lets say you find a useful domain name, and it isn't available as .com but the .net and .org are available. As far as search engine rankings go, which one of those if either would be a better choice in your opinion ?

    I am always go with .net if .com not available. :)

    Both of them are fine for me. I will go to .org if it is in professional niche, else go .net

    I had the same thing happen, "com" extension not available so decided on the "org" and must say very happy with decision :)

    TLD generally has no effect on rankings. Its just a common myth.
