I've had the same option to choose before and I went with the .org extension. It doesn't really affect your rankings which extension you choose but I'd just prefer the .info extension.
.org definantly. .info shows you aren't serious about your site. Even though and because it is cheaper.
I suggest go for nehruplace(dot)info .info will show information about nehru place. For get hosting, you can go for the following links: Web Hosting India Linux Hosting India
Although a .info would be cheaper I wouldn't recommend it. When I started out I bought me a bunch of .info sites, and although they had good keyword rich url's, I couldn't get them ranking well in google. Even with a lot of backlinks and not much of competition, they just didn't cut it. Now I only buy in this order: .com, .org and if those aren't available .net and that's it. I know there are people that get good results with .info, but it never worked for me so I'm not going that route anymore. If I wanted to get a domainname to redirect a referrallink, then I might consider a .info as I wouldn't go for ranking in the search engines, but that's it. Leslie
.org is for organization, and .info is for information, that depends on what your website is used for.
well, I'm just an Asian domain names provider, first, i think the domain names you got are not very suitable for Asian market, the pronounciation is strange, people won't understand it. Second, if your target market is Asian, then you should purchage domain names from Asian established provider,as the Asian provider is more familiar with the market, that will save you much time and money.
.org = community, organization and non-profit not for business .info = information. i love both of these with proper marketing i dont think you'll loose traffic from .com but for your cause id go for .info
My vote also go for .org!!! .info=4 characters + Unpopular .org=3 characters + more popular than .info
