.Org domains can have adsense?

    As .org is supposed to be a non-profitable organisation TLD. Is it ok to make money from it? Or would this be illegal or something?

    You can have Adsense on .org domains, there is no problem. I have some .org domains with Adsense

    Actually, .org is not for nonprofits. It was originally designed for sites that did not meet the requirements for the other TLDs. It has become associated with nonprofit organizations but that has never been a requirement. It was, in fact, suggested as the best TLD for personal websites prior to the .name TLD. There are no restrictions on who can register these sites. It is also understood that even not-for-profit or nonprofit organizations may raise money.

    .orgs use to be for organizations but these days anyone can register them. You can definately make money off .org names with Adsense or other stuff
