How do you order different Categories in Wordpress, its annoying currently they are just all over the place and they come out random in the navigation. How do I change the order in which they are displayed? Thanks!

Some themes (Including the one I use) order the categories in alphabetical order. I don't know how they do this. Maybe try to change the theme?
I don't really want alphabetical order though mate, I want to choose the order MYSELF, in my own custom way that I feel is right, eg. you can change forums on a board!
The referenced plugin should do what you want to do. You might try contacting the author with details of the problems you're having with it.
or the version of WordPress you are using is not compatible with your plugin..or some other plugin is causing that one not to work properly. what WP version are you using?
That's how categories are ordered by default. See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_categories To the OP: I don't think there's any way to order the categories right out of the box like that. What problem exactly were you having with that plugin?
