Order Form Impression Count VS Orders - What is the ideal ratio ?

    Hi Friends,

I asked this question in a someone else's thread earlier.. didn't get a reply and I am really curious to know this answer from all the guru's here.

Ok here goes - Is there something 'fishy' about my clickbank stats if my order form impression count is quite high but orders/sales are not that much. Won't atleast 70-80% people go to the order page only when they 'want' to purchase ? Like for 1 product I have 96 order form imp counts and just 6 sales. Is it weird ? What should be the ideal ratio ? What are your stats for this ?

    Pls share/help :)
    Thanks,
    Jo

I am also seeing this in different niches and curious if anyone knows any information on this. A recent product that I have been promoting has gotten 10 order form impression counts but 0 sales. All traffic sent to this particular affiliate is HIGHLY targeted.

i dont think CB is shady at all. a lot of the sales page have links to their order form like "CLICK HERE to Get Instant Access Now!" or something like that.

Man hard question with no real answer. That really depends of the niche. I have one that is about 1 out of 30 and another that is about 1 out of 400.

I'm a CB Apex member, and promote quite a few CB products in different niches aside from our own http://www.childrenlearningreading.com. I've seen order form imp vs order from as low as 4% to highs of 27%. It seems each product is unique, where products with low rates are consistently low, and products with high rates are consistently high.

    Yea that is understandable.

I am mostly using adwords promoting these products to people looking for information on the product. I realize many people go to the order form to see the price, if it is not displayed on the actual sales page. My issue is that I am tracking all of this using adwords tracking and plugging the code into clickbank. From what I understand, adwords tracks 2 levels of the "transaction". The impression and the sale. When setting up the code it asks you to name the two, which is view and order.

My point is, I show 21 orders/conversion in adwords stats, and I show 3 in clickbank. None of my adwords stats match up with clickbank in any way, shape, or form.

Ah.. thats some relief then. I guess it been happening with all.
When CB introduced these new stats, we all assumed order form sub must match with orders, hence the confusion .
