    Hi All,

In the keywords tag for each page, is there any merrit in keeping it to just a few words? i.e. are they seen as "stronger" if there are only a few, whereas they are watered down if there are many?

Also, is there any significance in the order of them?

    Thanks

There is merit in keeping it to just a few words, in that you are wasting less time.

The keywords meta tag isn't valued as much (if at all?) as it used to be back in spammy '97.

I'd use it only for completeness, and not for any seo benefit.

I agree with hooperman... well google doesnt bother much about keywords tags but there are several other smaller search engines that still do... that's why it's always handy to use keyword tags.... and the question of how many? then I suggest 4-5 keywords maximum for a page...keep the density to 20-25% only... it is suggested to have that much density only...

    Take care
