So, I would like to put to links on my articles that are to the same webpage, but have different anchor text, so I can target 2 keywords. Is this bad for seo?
You mean two links to the same URL on your site using two different anchors? If so i would suggest linking to two seperate pages in your site with different anchors instead. Surely you have some sub-pages you can promote in the article with the second anchor? It's really a waste putting two links to the one URL on a single page.
Using 2 different links to the same page with different anchor text is not necessarily bad. Ideally you want to target 2 or 3 keywords per page so this would work out nicely. Also, you want to mix up your link profile, so having different link anchor text is a good way of adding variety and keeping things natural.
Yeah, varying your anchor text to a page looks more natural and helps rank that page for multiple keywords. If you send the links to 2 different pages, you've got to work twice as hard to rank them.
As per your title, I guess you are looking to put link to same url twice with two different keywords in Author Bio area. Or you mean in article body?? If it is article body then...go ahead and do it. And If it is Author Bio then whatever you use should make some sense. If it is not making any sense then better you use one keyword. Use both keywords is simply NOT bad seo.
