Oracle buys Sun

    This is massive news for web developers too, as Sun owns the most popular database software - MySQL. Oracle now have two sets of database software to deal with - their own and Sun's.

    I hope they don't gouge everyone on MySQL now. Can you say Monopoly?

    In this case it would be in oracles best interest to continue supporting Mysql since so many of us use it and to end it would be a crime. We can always hope I guess
