Optomizing Apache on a old computer

    I have Apache 2.x on a old Win 2000 machine and I would like to know what settings I can change to improve performance on the older machine (have it use less ram and cpu).

    Are you installing Stand-alone Apache package or some pre-configured LAMP package like XAMPP??

    This is a standalone install, its already installed (I believe I have MySQL 5.x), I just want to tweak it to use less memory and take up less cpu.
