Options for sites Banned by Google Search

What can some one do with domains that have been banned or had all their pages de-indexed by Google? I have a bunch of domains that were at parking company that used automated content. As a result, my sites were de-indexed, and a online tool stated that they were banned by Google search.

So what are my options? A few of these domains are stellar names that I was in the process of developing. And others I had planned to develop, but now am discouraged. I don't know if I can sell these as they are, so I guess I would have to let them all drop.

If I chose to keep and develop, well are the likely chances of being reinstated and how long would the process be? Its a tough situation as, I'm not sure if the energy is worth trying to develop when the domain can be tarnished.

Anyways, if anybody has some input, please share.

My site was actually banned by google. Before I ever studied the 'rules' of SEO, I stuffed my site with keywords in invisible ink. Foolish, but that's happened. Any way, I bombarded Google with communication. The very first step before you contact them: make sure the sites that were banned are now completely compliant 100% with google's indexing guidelines. There's no need to even try to re-index them unless they are ready to go without a hair of a doubt about their worthiness of indexing. Then after that happens, you basically have to beg and plead with google to re-evaluate the site and re-consdier it for indexing. I suggest you acknowledge the 'mistake' that caused your sites to be de-indexed, because then google personnel will have an easier time believing you understood waht you did wrong and won't let it happen again. I continually explained not only that I was now familiarized with 'white-hat' SEO and that my site had been changed to be fully compliant, but also that my site brought unique content to the internet and that it woudl be a valuable resource for the general public (its audience). Any way, if you can get a hold of one person and relentlessly press them for help (AFTER your site has been fixed to be compliant), that is what I would recommend doing.

That's one thing I always wondered. What's the purpose of registering a domain and just parking it for years.

Thanks for the input Eric. As for my purpose for parking a domain, I've had my domains for about a year. I parked these domains until I came around to developing them. Unfortunately, the parking service I used placed automatic content on the sites to get the search engine exposure. I felt it was a great way to get the site going prior its development, I obviously was wrong.

As far as doing anything in violation of Google's policies, I wouldn't know, since my sites were pretty much handed over to someone else. So aside from duplicate content, or some kind of linking issue, I don't know what was done.

The invisible ink thing sounds a bit dodgy, didn;t know you could get banned for this.

If this sites have some incoming links just send a 301 redirect to another domain that you want to improve the rankings. 301 will help to pass this backlinks to the other domain.

You can try rebuilding and resubmitting your site

But if your domain names got banned then your DOOMED

I would not buy your banned domain names at any price

It would probably be easier just to register new domain names

and just start all over again

You should get all your sites fixed first. You have to remove those auto generated content and put unique content replaced. Then you have to send Google re-inclusion request and give them a detailed explain to what has happened. Please be patient since you may not get a reply quick as you may expected. There are queues before you.

Usually, I would just forget about the domain and register a new one. I would then park the domain onto the content again. I usually have no problems in getting it indexed. Also, the re-indexed content do usually survive in Google's index as well.

But first you have to check whether your site is banned or got penalty. Then Remove unwanted stuff and send reconsideration mail to google.
