optimzing two similar business related websites own by one business. Will google penilized that? So u have 2 websites that sell similiar products, and your trying to optimize both webiste with same keywords. Will google penilized that?
When doing 2 sites for same business make sure to reqrite all the contents, description, title and keywords so that your 2 site will be unique from each other.
as long as both sites are separate, have unique content, and not heavily cross linking with each other, there will be no issue. you can own as many sites as you want on one niche/topic/business.
no GOOGle will not penalize or ban it,,if u will make it as promotion of two differnet sites.Try to vary it from each other.KW's may be same but contents must differ from each other and all the other working criteria so that GOOGle may not realize that you are breaching the rules.
There are no reasons for being penalized by promoted this ways. Many peoples are doing it without a single problem encountered. However, there are some exception 1. If those two sites has almost or exact similar content - Problem 2. If those two sites do cross linking between each other under same IP address - Problem 3. If those two sites gain links 100% from the same sources - Possible problem since Google can see domain ownership and those links would be easily identical as paid link.
Even with duplicate content, Google will not penalize you for that. I just think that it's a waste to have two sites having the same content through and through. Maybe you could use both for branding.
