I have some Mpegs that I'd like to display on a site but they are in excess of 2MB for only 5-30 second movies. Is there any way I can reduce the size of the file?

Ok after much research I have found that converting MPEGs into a flash movie is the best way to optimize the file. I went from 1.8MB to a 245kb file without losing any quality or size of the movie.

However I haven't found a freeware converter yet so I've got a big advert across my current flash movie.... brilliant
