Optimizing Local Search - Key Points

    The only advice I can give for optimizing with local search is to sign up online for the Local Business directory. They will send you a postcard to confirm your address.

    Does anyone have any advice on how to rank well with the local listings?

    That's all well and good for countries where google supports local business listings.

    cianuro...I guess i should have been more specific about "if you are in the US".

    bogs...that is great advice...i follow that with my normal page SEO....

    you should sign up under yahoo directory under the city your in for local results
