Optimizing in Google.de - German site optimization. Help needed

    Hello guys, my site is positioned in Google.com on the 2nd place, though can't figure out why it is not in even 5 pages on Google.com

    So, what are the techniques to optimize in local are? .de in this case.

    To rank locally, you need to set your searches to that country, and language wouldn't hurt (if you understand it). go to google's adwords research tools and instead of making US and English what gets searched, search for Germany. The results for the CPC on keywords will be different, for example, emperor wilhelm ranks far higher in Germany than in the US

    I have set geo targetting to Germany of course the language is German. I'm interested in SEO. Added site to web directories. Now I'm searching for good bookmarking services for Germany.
