A client of mine has asked me to optimize a load of foreign language websites (Dutch), but since all my methods rely on content and syndication, I'm not sure how well I'll be able to do this. Does anyone know if it makes any difference if I have English content but the keywords in Dutch / foreign language? What about if I have a website that's full of English articles (like ezinearticles) and then put an article on which is in Dutch? Do you think Google actually knows / cares if the anchor text keyword is in a different language? Help is appreciated as I said I'd get back to the client today!
