Optimizing Adsense for Blogger

    hi guys, just wondering if you have some tips to optimize adsense for blogger.
    my site has been up for almost a month, got around 1000 visitors already and am hitting the $5 revenue.
    is that normal, low, high?
    need some expert opinion and am sure i can find one here
