Optimized site, submited to directories, did social bookmarking now what?

Ok I have a project im working on with some decent results so far. My sites throughly optimized, I recently submitted to 1,000 directories, 150+ stumbles and did some other social bookmarking work. My next plan is to buy some links related to my site. Any other suggestions?? or recommendations?? TIA

Thanks Awareness. Article submission will be thrown on my things to do list. Search engine submission?? I've been reading big debates on this forum rgding whether having to submit to search engines or being automatically indexed. I'm under the impression once google picks you up all others follow. I appreciate your suggestion though. We'll see if anyone else recommends search engine submissions.

 

Come up with a creative way for your site to attract links. building links manually is tedious and time consuming

 

Link exchange with related sites. Its better not to submit site to search engine, just wait for them to crawl your site. Try also forums posting.

I also just recently hired a writer to sketch up a press release for me. Once done I'll have it submitted to a bunch of press release sites...
