Optimized page

I decided to optimize my website more complete than I already was doing. I just finished a page.
Here it is: Flip Throw In Soccer Tutorial

Before I continue with the rest of my site, I'd like to know what you think.

(The page above is not connected to the rest of my website. That means the links don't work)

I would convert the orange headers "Soccer Turtorial: Flip Throw In", "Video: Flip Throw In", "Soccer Tutorial in Steps: Flip Throw In", and "Last Advices" to be <h2> tags.

I would change the "Video: Flip Throw In" <h2> to "Soccer Video: Flip Throw In" just to get "soccer" in the 2nd <h2>.

I would change the "Last Advices" <h2> to something like "Last Advice: Flip Throw In" to get "Flip Throw In" into the 4th <h2>.

If you have more tutorials or videos about other "Throw In" techniques then I would list them in the left or right column with maybe a one sentence summary of each and a link to the pages where the tutorials are using a link text that contain "soccer" and "throw in". Try to use "soccer" and "throw in" in the one sentence summary/teaser text where possible as long as it doesn't look/sound spammy.

Not much else you can do except possibly adding bold tags around "Flip Throw In" where it appears in the content at the top of the page. But I generally don't like doing that.

I completely agree with what Canonical listed

A few things that might help:

    1. Meta Tags could be better, the description is short and try to include synonyms in the keywords.
    2. You have way to many tables/td/tr in the code, try some css.
    3. It won't make much difference but move the title tag over the rest metas.

Apart from this basic stuff considering that the keyword isn't too competitive what you have done should work, try to clean some tables that is the biggest flaw I see.

There are many ways to optimize your website. It may be an on-page and off-page optimization.

    On-page Includes:
using keywords on title, meta tags, alt tags, description, highlighting keywords, and using them as anchor text.

    Off-page includes:
    backlinks
    link exchange
    social bookmarking
    directory submission
    press release submission
    article submission
    blogging
    joining forum
    online groups

Thanks, I'll change the orange letters into <h2>. I also thought highlighting the keywords in the content through <b> would be a bit overdone.

You're right about the tables. I already use css but it could be done way better. I'll take a look at that. :)

Yes, you're right. I think I was too attached to my layout :p

I'm now working on a practice page to get out some of those tables and adding some <h2> and other optimization.

I'll post my new page here when it's done.

    Thank you all! :D

One more important thing is that give Alt tag i.e. alternative text tag should be given to each image and video.
It helps to add more text to your site even with flash images.

Thanks. I'm already was going to add a few more images to make the site more appealing. I'll add alt tags to them. :)
