Hey everyone, Newbie here. I was hoping to get a few tips or suggestions on ways to optimize pages that are strongly imaged based. The front page of my site http://www.orangecoastfleet.com does not have lots of text, but obviously I would like to get it ranked well for some specific key words. I've been reading lots of posts here at DP for a while now and I really enjoy the vibe round this place. Any help is appreciated.
Basically, current search algorithms are based on internal and external link structures rather than on keyword density. Therefore, you can greatly promote your website if you set up a big website and interlink it properly. As to the images, try to put ALT tags to them or some comments on the bottom . Use website headears and footers for keywords and content.
Thank you very much...I was hoping that someone would say that. I have all the alt tags set up and good descriptions. The site has over 100 pages and is interlinked very well. The unfortunate thing about my site is that I don't have content that changes very often. It's an automotive site that gives free price quotes on Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. I find it difficult to find ways to keep fresh content on the site, especially on the front page.
* use human readable urls * use image atg and title tags * use a small paragraph related your image these are thinks you can do
