    hi,

its there a way to optimize the images displayed in a forum as thumnails ,the images that are stored on dedicated servers like imageshack, imagevenue...

the code for this looks like this

    [--URL=http://img340.imageshack.us/my.php?image=41455967.jpg][IMG--]http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/1391/41455967.th.jpg[/IMG--][/URL--]

what is the best way to optimize those images for search engines?so that the trafic will come to your site not to the image host?

You could write a script to download them, dump them into photoshop, batch optimize, then re upload. But it seems like a huge project unless you have massive amounts of images to display.
