I have 2 ROS 728x90 and 250x250 above the fold ads and today i created 2 more and assigned them to the home page only. Is this standard practice? Will this increase revenue?

It a practice to know more about where the click generated, however, it won't make any difference on revenue.

It depends on the placement. It is really too hard to tell, just by knowing that more ads were placed on the homepage. Where were they placed? How are they blended with the content?

    There's no standard practise, really.

Optimizing ads require the publisher to put great emphasis on analyzing his/her data daily until maximum ROI are reached.
