what is the the optimal keyword/ key phrase density ratio? There are some who says that 2-4% is the best, others say that it should be 2-8%. what do you think?
Don't worry about keywords density.. lots of other important things to do than density. if you are targeting google focus on quality link unlike for Yahoo and MSN ( correct me if im wrong ) still give importance on density..
Plz read the posts first and then start new thread here is the same one http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=243088 just take a look of this, you will find the answers.
3-5% is good in my opinion but let me tell you one thing. The hole keyword density depends on how long your keyword is. For example, if your kewyord is short like "Design" then you should have a higher keyword density then if your keyword is "Professional Logo Design". That's my experience with keyword density.
Don't overdo it. My max is 6%. But there are more important factors than keyword density. You know the old story that Adobe ranked #1 in all search engines (no longer true) for the keyword "here" despite the fact that it did not appear in its page? (Because everybody used "here" as the anchor text to download the Adobe Acrobar Reader).
keyword density is important, i target 3%, but im not writing with this in mind. i rather wirte with natural variation of my keywords
