Hi All, Anyone have any ideas how I can post process credit card payments automatically after the approval has been completed. Senario. - My current website handles credit card payments. - Approvals are via 2checkout. The customer must enter their own credit card details as per 2co requirements. (Fraud detection blah blah.) - My site passes the customer off to the 2co site which has my products etc and handles Credit details and approval. - On approval, 2co returns the customer back to a local script which can do post payment processing etc. - Local script writes the approval away to a database/approved file, thanks customer etc. Now here's my question. Is there any way I can then automatically post this payment into optigold after approval to release the customer from hold? (aka Post payment to customer record) I know optigold supports Authorise.net and allows full real-time auths but I don't want to buy CCAuth at $350.00 (About 2 billion NZ paesos I have a credit card system thats simple, (I like simple) and works great. Now, hoping that it is just a matter of some automated process picking up these already authorised payments and dropping into Optigold, which would in turn, return the customer to a "Current" state. I have seen the payment import and the process is ideal, but is a manual affair from what I can see. 1. Import payment file 2. Process Queued payments. If there is an automated option for these 2 options, that may work. Possibly, another option I thought of, was a method of releasing the customer automatically back to a Current state and then manually processing the payment next day. Doesn't really matter when the payment gets Would this be possible if the above is not feasiable? Any ideas, responses etc appreciated. Thanks Steve.
Not really. This link https://support.2co.com/deskpro/faq.php?do=article&articleid=189 discusses it a bit more.
Hi, Just to clarify. By API, you are talking about some standard call routine(s) in which the parameters can be passed in a call and a response is received aren't you. No waiting around for other details to be entered etc. Everything is provided in the call. If so, then yeah, from what I have seen, (but I will check with 2co) there is no call routine. They force the merchant to use their web portal so that the customer enters his CC details. They don't allow auth with the merchant providing the CC details. (Even tho every other auth switch does
