Optical Illusions

I just noticed one with the Tigopedia-Reloaded 2 template I'm using. I always thought the sidebar links were orange, but the actual color is closer to red (#ff4000). I didn't believe it until I got the color from a screenshot.

Do you ever encounter optical illusions when desiging websites? That must be a real pain to deal with if you need a specific color.

Orange is the most difficult color to keep a consistent look on different monitors. It always appears differently from what was intended, so I rarely use that color.

Yeah, some blues look purple depending on what other colors are on the page, and the monitor; definitely oranges also.
