There are tons of providers of opt-in mail for those who want to do a marketing campaign. My question is, are these opt-in mail providers who claims you can send to over 60 million opt-in subscribers are true and how effective is it? thanks for all your input on this.
I wouldnt go for any, mostly all are some sort of spamming techniques. Your domain may get blacklisted if the mailing provider is not a good one.
My experience with this type of deal is it is an opportunity based list where they tell people to even setup another email address for receiving hundreds of emails a day. So even if it is opt-in I wouldn't expect you to get much in the way of results. Advertising on the net is one of the biggest ways to through away your money. I have heard that something like 75% of the online business spend more on getting set up and advertsing than they ever make.
I would agree with Heritage. Most people that are new to the Internet have a belief that that they will be able to start an online business and start making money the next day. While this is definitely possible in the online world, and not as likely in the "real world" marketing, it is not the norm. Just like a "real world" business, with the exception of certain kinds of businesses, you would need to build a customer list and contact those customers with pertinent information on a timely and recurring basis in order to build trust in your company and name recognition. Building your own mailing list is one of the best ways to do so. Good luck in your online marketing efforts. ResidualGuy
