Opt-in box in my landing page dissapear on users 2nd visit if they sign-up

Basically I'm putting an Opt-In box on my landing page and if someone signs up to the list I would then like it so the next time they visit the page (after I have sent them follow-ups etc through e-mail) for the Opt-in box not to display the next time around.

Can this be done in a simple way?

I didn't find the other way and did exactly as you wrote.

 

You could try using cookies but it's not the best way (example : people using public computers).

 

How's it done then vid!
