opssss my ctr is 23%

hello guys

i have a big problem ..... my ctr is 23% and i'm afraid that google will ban me

i saw Michael Cheney's videos and i saw something smart you can see the picture in the attachments and can see what i've done

i took adsense ad unit and above the ads there is small pics and a border with the same colors and thats how i got 23% ctr . do adsense will ban me?

my question is what is againts terms of google? pics above the ads without hyperlinks or pics with hyperlinks?

If your CTR is genuine not fradulant then
no worry..

i m also enjoying 30% which genuine from last one year
and never banned by google.

I dont think its wrong....but lets wait for the confirmations from big shots...its better if you could email google and ask!!

 

As long as my understanding is that ctr will depend on the number of ads viewed and ads click. If the number of ads viewed is higher (difference) than the click, thus ctr will more low and so the opposite.

I am correct or wrong?

 

I don't really understand ctr.. never paid attention to it but I thought you weren't allowed to share your ctr with others or was that something else?

Anyway, as long as you stop adding images next to ads Google won't ban you

 

It is against the Google Adsense Policies to place misleading images near the ads

As people said, is against google TOS place images near the ads like if the images are from the ads.

Just take off the images.

 

23% CTR is nothing to be worried about if it is legid. however, the way you are showing is not allowed by google. you cannot put image next to ad unless there is a deviding line between them.

 

Well if your traffic is genuine you shouldnt have any problem.
By the way, whats the number of uv you have?

(23% in 100uv´s is one thing, 23% in +2000uv´s it´s another totally different thing)

 

I think you should remove those ads immediately as you can get banned this way

 

Prepare yourself to lose your account. Google is not an idiot... there is no way to have that ctr in legal way... believe me.. sorry to disappoint you.

You are 100% wrong about the CTR. I have a site with a CTR higher than that for over a year and I have not been banned. The site does not get much traffic but it is all unique.

You are right about him getting banned. But, the reason is that it is against TOS to put pictures next to ads.

i removed all the images near the ads the ctr down to 10% i have 2500 page views per day

but i have last question ..... do you heard about Michael Cheney??? i took this idea from his videos that to put images near adsense ??!! and he makes alot of money why google didn't ban him ??

I dont know, it´s impossible to say whether they noticed that fact or not, if so if is it enough to ban you or not.
Basically i dont know and´s probably hard do predict
